Doodle is an online multiplayer game I designed the UX for.

We came up with the idea while on holiday together and developed it during covid so we could play while apart

I was on holiday with a group of friends in Devon, and it rained the entire time. We played countless games of cards, every board game in the house and eventually started making up our own games.

One of our favourites we named Doodle. You come up with a strange word or phrase, write it at the top of a piece of paper, pass it to the next person, they draw what you’ve written, the next person will see their drawing and describe it etc etc.

When covid hit we decided we should turn it into an app so we could play from our separate houses. I designed the UX, creating simple mock ups in Figma, while two of our friends did the development.

I created a basic wireframe clickable prototype  I tested with my friends and family
